Simplicity Goes a Long Way

There is a lot to simplicity. A white tee is a must have for any woman(and men for that matter) a white tee, colored pants and strappy sandals is simply perfect!

As always, i like to glam up my outfits, add a little 'vavavum' to it, a statement neck piece, red lip, cute little butterfly earrings and my curly 'fro
And of course a statement bag...

FAFA FASHION WEEKEND

I am still crazy over mixing prints, this time I did a mix of stripes and Ankara print. I have won the same look before but shorts instead.
I designed these myself.

All Work and No Play

We all love a little play every now and then especially after a long day! I wore this to work earlier on today(well, with a few minor changes here and there)I have a slight obsession with military colored/inspired everything. Mixed it up with a vintage style blouse and red-bottom platform pumps. I am currently using my creativity to mix up all clothes in my wardrobe. White and military are just a beautiful match :)

Given the cold weather, i layered with a double-breasted jacket and the pop of color, my yellow scarf...

All in the details...
(Yellow scarf-Moi Avenue stalls;Coat-Adamz;Military green pants-Adamz;Black mumps-Gifted)

On work days, depending on  my schedule I wear little or no makeup, or stick to minimalism and that unruly kind of hair

Happy Post

Visited the art gallery in the neighborhood earlier on today. There really isn't a way to describe my happiness at the moment, perhaps a pointer...
Because simply admiring art is too mainstream...(the sculpture is made of scrap metal)

I just had to

Nature loving maybe :)

(leggings, hi-low shirt- Adamz market; nude-colored wedges: gifted; neck piece: Maasai market)

I love the wall graffiti and my unruly hair :)
As i have said before, leggings + loose fit cotton shirt are my comfort! They are super comfortable and very tolerating of hot weather. This is one of my go-to outfits for a relaxed weekend.

More on the art gallery soon.

My Week In Pictures

To be honest, I have had a rather eventful week(quite literally) see below:
Last week on Wednesday, I attended Kiko Romeo's fashion show featuring my favorites the Kenyan Rugby XVs and 7s players.

It was rather last minute, and a girl can never go wrong with a black outfit! Here with Arthur of http://arthurmburuymailcom.blogspot.com/
